Summary
This report details the distribution status of a selected product/product groups vs ranging groups the products are in at the account level. The intention of this report is to allow users to identify which products are marked as "Core" in a Ranging Group are/are not ranged by their accounts.

Parameters 

  • Primary Account Group (e.g. Territory)
  • Secondary Account Group (e.g. State)
  • *** Ranging Group (lists all Ranging Groups setup in Administrator). Only Active Ranging Groups appear in this list. Multi select to be available.
  • Account Group (unsure if this is possible, but ideally if a "Ranging Group" is selected then the "Account Group" filter populates with all "Account Groups" specified in the "View Ranging Group By" section of the Ranging Group template)



Requirements for report 

  • Accounts exist in the Perenso database
  • Users of Perenso must be maintaining the distribution status of products within a Check the Store work item for accurate data to be returned
  • Ranging Groups must be setup in Perenso Administrator

  • Account Group



Column Details 

  • State (used as an example only)
    This column will return the Secondary Account Group \ Group Description (as defined in ‘Report Config’).

  • Territory 
    This column will return the Primary Account Group \ Group Description (as defined in ‘Report Config’).

  • Ranging Group
    This column will return the description the Ranging Group. Only Ranging Groups where Active = Y appear.

  • Account Group
    This column will return the description the Account Group within the Ranging Group (found in the section "View Ranging Group By" of the Ranging Group template).

Ranging Group 
Total # Accts
This column will return the total number of accounts that the ranging group is applicable to based on the Account Group and Visibility Setting of the Ranging Group.

The above shows that there are 114 accounts in the "7-Eleven" Banner in total (based on the "Account Criteria". Assuming 12 of these are "A Grade" and are in the Territory "NSW-EAST" then this column returns "12" for "A Grade" for "NSW-EAST"

Total # Core Products
This column will return number of products that are set as "Core" in the ranging template for the Account Group.

The above shows there are 2 products that are "Optional" for "A Grade", 4 for "B Grade" and 2 for "C Grade".


Core
Available Dist Points
This column is a calculation. The calculation is "Total # Core Products" x "Total # Accts".
This column essentially is the 'target' in that if the user wanted to achieve 100% distribution based on the Ranging Group, all accounts in the ranging group would range all "Core" products.

Actual Dist Points
This column returns the total number "In Distribution" points for any product that is "Core".
For example:


Using the above example, the "Actual Dist Points" is 4 (this is the number of "In Dist" points).


% Dist
This column is a calculation. The calculation is "Actual Dist Points"/"Available Dist Points" (formatted as a % to 1 decimal place).



Optional
Available Dist Points

This column returns the total number "in Distribution" points for any product that is "Optional".

Using the above example, the "Actual Dist Points" is 3.

This column is a calculation. The calculation is "Actual Dist Points"/"Available Dist Points" (formatted as a % to 1 decimal place).
