Summary


Previously, Perenso offered the ability to refer an order, however, this was only possible when a deal criteria was not met.


With the update, we have added an option to allow users to manually refer an order.


This feature is only available when enabled by the Perenso Administrator.



Manually Referring an Order

  1. Order products in a Call as usual.

  2. Tick the Referred Order checkbox under Options.

  3. Enter in Referral Notes when prompted.

  4. You can edit your referral note by clicking on the Referral Notes link.

  5. Finish the Call.
    In the Call Summary page, you are able to view and edit the Referral Notes if you wish.

  6. Save & Close the call.
    The Order will be in the status of 'Held - Referred by User' until it has been approved or declined by Head Office.



Order Management


You can view manually referred orders in the Order Management page in Web Manager.
You can also click on the link to view referred orders from the Home screen to only see referred orders.


Here you can approve and decline Held Orders as usual.

Status
Orders that have been manually referred will be given the status 'Held - Referred by User' in the Order Management page.

Similar to the 'Held - Referred' order status, clicking on the Held - Referred by User status will load the Referral popup with requester referral notes and the ability to approve or decline the order.

Once approved, the order will be updated to 'Pending' and sent when the Order Generator runs.

If the order is declined, the status will be updated to 'Held - Refer Declined' and the user who took the order will be advised to make changes and resend the order.


Filters
'Held - Referred by User' orders will be counted in the 'referred orders' count on the Home page of Web Manager.

The 'Held - Referred' Order Status filter will also encompass the 'Held - Referred by User' orders as well.
