- Select a Distributor
The first step in loading any Order work item requires you to choose the primary distributor and an account number for use in the order.
The customer's account numbers are listed here if they exist - otherwise you must add a new one via Add Account before proceeding.
Select a distributor and press Continue to load their prices list. - If you're in the Deals Ordering Mode, make sure to select the deal you wish to use.
- Select a Product
Pressing the Order button on a product line will bring up the quantity keypad window with several controls for you to determine the order unit, delivery date and distributor to use. - Delivery Date
Orders can be restricted to use a single delivery date or it can allow multiple delivery dates.
This setting is dependent on your organisation's business needs and is configured in the Admin software though the multiple delivery date mode is the most common setting used.
- Single Delivery Date: You can only specify one delivery date across the entire order.
- Multiple Delivery Dates: Active delivery dates of the order are listed vertically, always starting with the current date as the default setting.
You can add as many delivery dates as you need as long as they are set in the future beyond today.
Any unused deliveries (with zero quantity) will be removed after pressing OK.
Order quantities will appear in each delivery date as units only. - Confirm Distributor
If the distributor account you need is not listed, then it can be added by pressing on No Distributor Account then the Add Account button in the popup window.
For more information on how to do these, you can read the article Confirming and Adding Distributor Accounts. - Confirm Order Quantity
Tap Save when you are happy with your order quantity to close the popup.
You can read the article Order Units for more details about the order quantity shown. - Apply Deal
An order line can only be assigner to 1 deal per order work item so you cannot split quantities for the same product across 2 different deals.
Depending on which Ordering Mode you are in, this will differ slightly.
For instructions on how to apply deals, view the article Applying Deals.
