Prepare for Offline Usage
Here are instructions on how to cache your calls if you plan to use the app in Offline Mode, or if you are visiting a location with poor to no internet connectivity.
- Ensure your device is connected to the internet.
- Open the Diary to the current day an remain on this screen to allow for caching to begin.
- Wait for a green arrow symbol to appear on the left of the first call.
- The first call should cache successfully so be patient while the green arrow symbol appears for the rest.
- Once all the calls have the green arrow symbol it is safe to go offline.
New calls added to the current day in the diary will be cached as long as the above instructions are followed.
Force Offline Mode
There is no menu option to take the app into Offline Mode voluntarily so to do this you will need to enable Airplane Mode via the iPad Control Center panel.
The Control Center can be accessed by double pressing on the Home button on any screen or swiping up on the home screen.
Remember to exit out of Airplane Mode to return the app back to normal.
NOTE: Be careful not to log out of the app while in Offline Mode as there is no way to log in again without an internet connection.
