Summary

There are 6 different store check types:

  • Survey Question
  • Compliance Check
  • Action
  • Product Check
  • Over and Above
  • Competitor Info

Survey Question, Compliance Check, Action and Product Check are Head Office Requirements.

They are specific activities which must be completed during a store visit by request of the organisation, with the intention of reporting on this data retrospectively.

All store check types, except Survey Question and Product Check, allow for adding notes or attaching a photo once they’ve been answered.

Using the camera in the Perenso app to take photos will also save a copy of them to its own photo album on the device, but you will first need to grant permission for the app to do so when prompted.

Survey Question

This item type can be used for surveying customers and recording their responses from a list of pre-defined answers or inputting an answer in the text field.

Survey answers can be configured to allow users to score points either by answering the question or by choosing a specific answer. Survey questions with weightings are displayed in the Store Check bar.

Compliance Check

A head office requirement used to capture whether or not the customer complies with a particular conduct.

A compliance check can have an answer of “Check Passed” or “Check Failed” with accompanying notes or photo.

Action

A head office requirement whereby a task should be completed as part of an agreement and recorded as being “done” or “not done” with notes and/or a photo if applicable.

Product Check

Used for performing a “walk the store” to check distribution status, stock levels, facings, shelf pricing or make a suggested order. If Core Ranging is part of your organisations business rules then it is recommended to turn on the Ranging column.

Product View

Tapping on the graph icon will enlarge content and show the sales history for the product.

In Distribution

A product distribution rule can be set up by the Perenso Administrator for users to allocate periods to a colour. This will allow app users to know how long ago a product was last checked in a quick glance.

Ranging

Ranging groups are set up by the Perenso Administrator to determine which products should be ranged by that store. You are able to filter according to these ranging groups in the product check.

Over and Above

These are optional activities but may be encouraged by an organisation for reps to act beyond the call of duty.

Competitor Info

Capture information on competing brands such as pricing, promotions and shelf position.
