Summary

A call is like a job card in the way that it is a list of necessary tasks to complete.

Tasks are grouped into categories, referred to as work items.

Having work items allows a call to be organised appropriately into separate sections.

In technical speak, a call is the framework that uses a header, body and footer to frame the work item content.

Header

You will find a number of controls here to navigate between work items and to open or exit out of a call.

The Account Name and call date is displayed in the header at the top of the page.

Tip: Details of the account can be accessed by tapping on this label.

Directly underneath this is the Call workflow bar showing the work items.

You can jump directly into a certain work item by pressing it.

The shape and colours in the Call workflow bar will change to reflect its completion status:

  • Incomplete Work Item. The shape is bordered and lacks colour to show it has no change therefore do not get saved.

  • Completed Work Item. The shape is coloured to show the required task/s in them have been fulfilled.

  • Selected Work Item. The shape is coloured and has a larger presence among the inactive work items to indicate it is the one in view.

  • Tick Mark. A work item with captured answers or changes will have a tick mark.

In the top right corner are the Previous and Next navigation buttons to shift between work items.

It is an alternative method to using the Call workflow.

The arrow button in the top left corner is used to show or hide the call workflow bar – doing this slightly increases or decreases the space used by the work item content.

The Notes button allows you to capture notes relating to the call and to also view past notes.

Pressing the Cancel button will exit the call without saving any changes.
