Details


This tab is where you can edit the general details of your deal.

Details

  • Description
    You can edit the name of your deal in this field.
  • Short Description
    In this field, if you have the deal column set up in the work item, you can view this description in the column.
    This field is restricted to only 20 characters so try to keep the description short and succinct.
    If you would like more information on turning on order work item columns, check out the Order Columns article.
  • Notes
    You also have the ability to enter notes about the deal if you would like to give the app user more information about it.


Extra Options

  • Pinned
    Pinned deals will appear on the top of the Deals list within an order for easier viewing.
  • High Priority
    You can choose to make a deal a High Priority deal which means that when the user is in the Product view, this deal will override the best deal algorithm and will be chosen.
  • Exclude from Auto-Deal Logic
    When this is enabled for a deal, the deal can only be manually applied by the user to be used.


Deal Dates
This is where you set when the deal starts and expires.


Work Items this Deal is available in
This will list all the Order work items you have.
From the list, you can choose which you would like the deal to be seen in.


Accounts
Perenso offers the option of restricting deals to certain accounts.
This can be useful when you would like the deal to be available to only a select few of your customers or have different deals for different account groups.

Distributors
Similarly to Accounts, you can also choose to restrict the deal against Distributors.


Products/Trigger/Discounts
On this tab, you can set up which products are applied to the deal, when the deal is triggered and the discount the deal offers.

First, you can choose if you would like to give the user the choice of selecting the discount level in a deal.
If you wish to have this feature enabled, tick the Allow Choice of Eligible Discount Levels in Order.
You have the then decide if you would like to give the ability for app users to pick select discount levels which have not met the triggers/order requirements.

NOTE: Of you enable the ability to Allow any Discount Level to be used regardless of order requirements, you must also make the Discount column editable as you are allowing users to change what is shown in the column.

Products This Deal Applies To

You can select the products you would like the deal to apply to by:

  • Selecting the product group and clicking Add Selected Group

  • Manually adding all the desired products by clicking on the Choose Products to Add button

  • Apply to All Products

Discounts Applied to these Products

  1. Choose the Discount Type.
    In the simple deal mode, there are 3 discount types:
    - Total Units Ordered - Percentage Off
    - Total Order Value Before Discount - Percentage Off
    - Units Ordered Per Line - Bonus/Free Stock

    If you wish to have more deal options, you can upgrade to an advanced deal.

  2. After you choose the discount type, you can add discount levels via the Add More button.

  3. Fill in the discount details.

  4. If you have more than 1 discount level, you can reorder them using the reorder column by clicking and dragging to your desired position.



  5. Make sure you click Save Changes to save the discount.


Sell View


This tab is what is shown in the Sell View tab of the app.

This is where you can add content to help aid in the promotion of the deal.

To add content, click on the Add Content button.

Once you Save Changes, the content should be successfully added to the deal.
