Summary


Before running any reports in Perenso Report Viewer it is important that you complete a "Reporting Configuration" within Perenso Administrator.

The primary purpose of a "Reporting Configuration" is to define what groups you want to appear in reports. All reports in Perenso Report Viewer are generic reports and completing a "Reporting Configuration" allows the generic reports to use the groups you specify.



Steps

  1. From the left hand side select System Config > Reporting.

  2. From the bottom of the page select Create New Reporting Config.

  3. Enter a description for the Report Configuration. For example "Report Config".

  4. Use the drop down boxes to select a group for each available slot.

    Below is a guide:
    Account Configuration
    LabelDefinition
    Group Report OnTypically select the field/group that contains your territories
    1st LevelIf the field you have selected in "Group Reports On" has multiple levels, select the top level for this slot (e.g. State).

    If the field you have selected in "Group Reports On" only has a single level, select the single level for this slot.
    2nd LevelIf the field you have selected in "Group Reports On" has multiple levels, select the lowest level for this slot (e.g. Territory)

    If the field you have selected in "Group Reports On" only has a single level, select the single level for this slot.
    Extra Group 1Select any group (e.g. "Grade")
    Extra Group 2Select any group (e.g. "Banner")
    Extra Group 3Select any group (e.g. "Other")
    Product Configuration
    LabelDefinition
    Group Report OnTypically select the primary product you want to view your reports by (e.g. "Brand" or something similar)
  5. Click Save Changes to save your new Report Configuration.
