If a new Distributor is not appearing, make sure you have associated it to a Price List.
You must have a Price List applied to a Distributor to be able to successfully place an order.

Perenso gives you the option to see all products, including ones without a price/price list.
If you would like this setting, you can turn on the Show Products without a price setting with the Order Work Item Details page.
