The Product Ordering mode is useful when you wan to sort and filter by products and product groups.
Here, the products are sorted alphabetically unless customised by the Perenso Administrator.
When you are in this mode of an order work item that uses deals, the app will always calculate and apply the best possible deal benefit to order lines that trigger it.
This means you cannot choose a deal or benefit manually in this mode unless the Perenso Administrator has enabled this option.
In the Deals Ordering mode, products are listed by the deal you select. This mode is ideal when you know or want to choose the deal to apply.
The Deals mode layout remains much or less the same as Products mode but with the difference of an additional panel with deal related controls appearing underneath the standard control bar, and an Apply Deal button replacing the Calculate button.
Note: Stock giveaways are only able to be allocated in the Deals Ordering Mode.
This means even if you used the Products Ordering Mode, if you have any deals giving away free stock, you must go to the Deals Ordering Mode to allocate them.
