1. User Types
Before creating any Users in the system, you need to first create the different types of User roles. From there you can then assign Users into the roles and control what they can access.
The Administrator User Type has already been created for you and cannot be removed. However, you can create as many additional types as you need. Some examples may include but not limited to are Manager, Sales Reps or Merchandisers.

  2. Create Users
Now that you have define the different User Types, you can create actual users in the system and assign them to their appropriate roles.
The default generated password for new Users is 'perenso'. Once the User has logged in, we strongly advise to have them change this password to something more complex for security purposes.

  3. Assign Licenses
Having User Accounts in the system alone does not grant the User access as they do not have a valid license assigned to them yet. This is where you assign licenses from the available pool you subscribed to during the signup process.

  4. Application Access
Listed will be the Users you have assigned licenses to. Depending on the license type assigned, you can control which applications each User can access.
For Users with Manager access, they will have the abiltiy to see the diaries and Accounts of Users that are linked to them.

  5. Link Account
You can link Accounts to Users by setting up some visibility rules so that they are able to see Accounts that are just relevant to them.
For example, an Administrator User should see all Accounts whereas a Sales Rep User may only need visibility of their territory or a specific customer group.

Congratulations, you have successfully created and setup Users to access Perenso. User login details can now be issued to the relevant people.

The next step is configuring Order Settings.
